A little Self Confidence....

Its a little more than a month since TOPL concluded, But i still couldn't forget the thrashing i had in the final match against V. It still sends shivers thinking abt the match, and also the second match again V and A. But today when K called to play, i just went down as usual, but there they were V and A, and then there came the big guy, whom i just want to beat atleast once I just need to take handle his serve then i can do anything against him.

Anyway coming to what happened today, i j ust geared up, thinking up all the positive things that i had been doing all these days after TOPL, my fast play and my forehand have improved, i know, but even with that i did not think i could have played the way that i played today,

I am not saying that i played too good and stuff, but still i did take on V, I did return A's serve, i was able to look thru the spin of V, it was just awesome, just awesome to see the ball land exactly where i had expected, just turning to exact amount which i had calculated, everything just fitted to the T, I was like on cloud 9, but still i kept check on everything, I did play good, from my point.

It's just wonderful what a little self belief can do to you.....

As i used to say during the end of college days, i repeat once again to myself, Believe in you.

Rafa vs Roger Wimbledon 2008 Finale update

hmm, its already 12:38 in the morning here. rafa and roger are locked at 2 sets each , with 2 games each in match decider set, and a deuce, and rain stops play again.... Still no match on tv. am following the match in Radio Wimbledon, for the past 2 hours.... what a match, i did not expect roger to come back after the way he was brushed aside by rafa, still he came back. He is not leaving the crown, Rafa drubbed Roger in French open finals just a month ago. Now if he wins, he will be the second spaniard to win at wimbledon and also some one who one French and Wimbledon on the same year after Borg.... Man.........this is a thriller, why don't we get to see matches like this in regular occassions.... Rafaaaaaaaaaaaaa please win. God let Rafa win today, please....... The score now 6-4, 6-4, 7-6(7-5), 7-6(10-8), 2-2...... and the match is stopped coz of rain...., wait... the commentator on Radio Wimbledon is saying some like the match is gonna start again,........

It is 8:08 pm at Wimbledon now, and the news seems to be that the covers might be out by around 8:20 pm....... can't wait to continue hearing the commentary, But got to go to office tommorrow morning,.. need to get up at 6:00, it's gonna be difficult. I know, both for me and rafa, but i think we are gonna make it.... somehow.......

Rafa Vs Roger Wimbledon 2008.

I don't know what is happening.... They say it is raining there, and i am not able to watch the match on tv because of the CAS here.

From the net : Roger is 2 sets down, seems at last Rafa is going to win against roger, this will be a match to watch. when the rain stopped play it rafa is to server at 4-5 to roger. this is the end of Federer, and may be the beginning of the reign of Nadal.....

I pray for nadal to win. it is boring to see the swiss win always...........

TOPL concludes Orangescape beat Team 4-1

The TOPL which was running along for the past month and half has concluded finally, with Orangescape beating us (Team) by 4 matches to 1. We are planning to call them for another one in the month of August / September. Though OS did not play to their potential they did win easily. But i did see some nice, good plays from team too. and if they are trained properly, we can really give a run in the next edition of TOPL, if it ever happens.........

Fedora 7 & Stunt GP

Yesterday the Fedora 7 download finished. now i got to go buy a dvd, burn the image onto it and proceed to install it. i think it is time i revamped the whole os thing in the system. might be good to do some reinstalling now, windows seems to be having some problems. so well i think i will be having some busy time with the system.

I don't know how much downtime i am gonna take, but rest assured after the reinstall everything would be perfect, except the imperfect windows. I just can't guarantee anything with that.

The movie was good on Friday. nothing great though. You just can't beat the good the bad the ugly or solo or memento or the usual suspects.

Well i think i will be getting a system today in office and which means no more sitting and chatting and gossiping, gotta read a lot.

well of i go now, will be back by evening to continue to system adventure.

Hey forgot to say, i finished downloading stunt gp also. the game was cool, bought back some old memories. games these days lack something which these games had.

some aspx pages and street fight

Today was as usual normal without any thing out of ordinary happening, yeah i did create some aspx (asp.net) pages and checked my server if it delievered. and it did perfectly. Now i just need to find a IDE for asp.net to work from linux itself. Well whatever, i played Street Fighter today, after a very long time nearly some 7 to 8 years after. it was cool, the old memories came to remembrance, mann......those days were cool, when each one of us would wait for a chance to play to come in my system. (those days only i had a color monitor, rest had black n white). And would try to keep winning streak so that we can keep on playing while others watched. It was fun, today only i was playing and my nephew was watching., He did not like to play it though he like watching and laughing each and every time i would be knocked out. I was just playing like a small kid frowning and clapping for every right and wrong moves and my nephew ( 6 years smaller than I) was watching from my back giving me suggestions and orders to do things right. Was kinda fun though!
