some aspx pages and street fight

Today was as usual normal without any thing out of ordinary happening, yeah i did create some aspx (asp.net) pages and checked my server if it delievered. and it did perfectly. Now i just need to find a IDE for asp.net to work from linux itself. Well whatever, i played Street Fighter today, after a very long time nearly some 7 to 8 years after. it was cool, the old memories came to remembrance, mann......those days were cool, when each one of us would wait for a chance to play to come in my system. (those days only i had a color monitor, rest had black n white). And would try to keep winning streak so that we can keep on playing while others watched. It was fun, today only i was playing and my nephew was watching., He did not like to play it though he like watching and laughing each and every time i would be knocked out. I was just playing like a small kid frowning and clapping for every right and wrong moves and my nephew ( 6 years smaller than I) was watching from my back giving me suggestions and orders to do things right. Was kinda fun though!

Asp.net on Apache in Linux

.nET is a microsoft technology which is Platform independent, but only within the microsoft family, not everywhere. And Microsoft wanted it to stay that way only. ASP.nET is a web technology which belongs to .nET family, the only web server that can run asp.net is IIS (Internet Information Services). But now there came mono, which enabled the asp.net pages to be served from another web server APACHE. now asa apache comes into the screen, the great piece that follows in linux, coz apache was a native to linux, like how IIS is to windows similarly Apache is to linux. All these was done was somebody else, but to use it, i can't go out find someone who provides this service and use it, come on, Being the Geek i am i have to do it on my own. and i did it, though i had installed everything a week ago, i still couldn't use it to. the pages were served but plainly, without any content. and i just configured everything properly and now my apache server on fedora core 6 is now serving aspx pages like cooool..... well what do i say, lemme go and write some aspx pages for my asp.net apache server.

Missed the movies, Sorry Julia

sorry julia, i missed all 3 of your films, though i did not completely miss them, i saw the first one, My Best Friend's Wedding till where you will call your friend to ask for help to win you guy back and he wil suggest you to go and tell him that you love him, and you will go to the shop where he will be testing his new dress and make a fool out of yourself. but i couldn't see more, see i had to go to attend a function, sorry babe, Next time i will not miss your movie. I promise.

VRM VBnAccess Demo

ok , VRM - visitor record management, was good. it was done in php and my contact says he is gonna give a demo in his office with the one which was developed with VB and Access today. well i hope everything goes well and they go forward for the PHP one. i just hope so. may be i should soon start with the library management one, which i was told to do. But wat the hell am i to do without a spec. Freelancing is tough dude.

காதணி விழா (Ear Piercing Function)

it is tradition in most of india to pierce the ears of the new born baby within the first year. they would shave the hair of the head and pierce the ears. Though I don't know why, i don't find this ammusing, the baby was crying like anything, and imagine wat could happen when the guy who is doing this is inexperienced or not in proper conditon to do this. i had to attend one such function yesterday (yeah that is why i was not here to visit u for the last 2 days). Well, the baby was sick, (or did it act as though it was sick) still everyone went ahead of the function. they did show the baby to the doctor b4 proceeding. They shaved the hair of the baby's head and then pierced his ears and let him wear a earring(கம்மல்).
என்ன நடந்தாலும், நம்ம ஆளுங்க திருந்த மாட்டாங்க!!!

yesterday, saw 2 movies of clint eastwood and his interview in pix.

Desperado
I have seen many movies, and also many western ones also.
ok desperado dosen't come under western, but the other two does, and they did make Clint Eastwood very famous, both were too cool. Great films to watch. I wish i could watch the first of the trilolgy, though they are not trilogy in anysense. they are the first 3 westerns of Clint Eastwood. that changed the way the westerns were seen back then.

The climax of Good Bad and Ugly was too good, the final piece when all three, the good, the bad and the ugly, stand as the apexes of a triangle with the name of a grave written in a stone which lies in the center. The tense and the shots, and the music, everything was really wonderfull to watch and hear. It was a treat.

I would just say one word WOW. better watch it if you can. real nice one.

Desperado was something different. it is a revenge story. but great action, man u gotta see banderas move with the gun. The film is based around a myth of the Guy with a Guitar Case full of guns. the action sequences and the music which accompanies are mind blowing. I would just go on and on and on if am to talk on favourite movies. I would better stop.

Next Week Sunday Pix is airing 3 movies of Julia Roberts. she is the most beautiful i have ever seen. Her smile is mesmerising. She is my favourite. i would do anything to watch her movies. I will plan something to watch it.

V R M - Visitor Record Management / Maintenance

The First Project has been completed.   The visitor record management.  Even the bugs had been fixed.  It is working quite fine without any errors or problems.  Now just the design is to be made.  It is not like as though that i have to do it fully, ppl want to beautify the site a little more that is all, nothing more big, like putting the logo, the name in center,  making some controls on the same lnes and stuff like that.  It ain't my fault, the client did not say anything when the designs were approved at first.  Well anyway.  nothing more happened.  After a long time chated with sridevi today.  she is in tennesse now, and her first aniversary is this weekend.
